1. Mustard for Oily Hair

As a detergent, it can be used in combination with clay, henna, bran, adding essential oils to give the detergent a pleasant aroma, or in pure form. There are two ways you can use mustard.

a) We Need

Water-6 Cup

Mustard- 2 tablespoons


Boil the water and mustard for 5 min and let it cool. After that, sieve the mixture and apply this on washed hair. Leave this for 5 min and then wash your hair with lukewarm water.

b) We Need

Clay – 50gm or colourless henna

Mustard Powder- 1 Tablespoon

Essential oil- few drops (lavender)

Water as required


Mix clay, mustard and essential oil now dilute the mixture with a little cool water and spread over the hair, gently rubbing into the roots. After 15 minutes, rinse the detergent thoroughly.
